The evolution of computers has made a drastic change since the 1940s.The size of computers from the 1940s were the size of a room. Every computer has a chip with transistors inside of it. The average computer from today has billions of transistors in its chip. Which is about the same amount of stars in our galaxy. A single transistor from the 1940s was roughly a centimeter long.

Transistors have shrunk tremendously since back in the day. Transistors now are 20-70 atoms wide. That is smaller than bacteria. That is beyond microscopic. Billions can fit on a chip smaller than a fingernail.

I think that its a little scary. Mass surveillance can be helpful with finding criminals and other things, but I don’t want someone spying on me or anyone else. Although, I’m pretty sure we have FBI agents spying on us anyway.

There are a lot of problems with having autonomous weapons. Like what he said in the video, the autonomous weapons might not know friend from foe. Striking civilians or even coworkers.

The weapons could not properly judge who’s friend from foe. The emotions humans feel, AI does not. A human soldier would know who or when to shoot. Even though the military could find a way to fix that, its still a major concern.

I think AI having their own social network is scary. They were talking like their human. They were having their own opinions and thoughts. In the video he was talking about hoe the AI made their own language.

Sooner or later we won’t be able to decipher their language. He said in the video that when someone made the AI mad, the AI retaliated. Eventually the AI will be able to do more stuff. Maybe even fight against humans like in the movies.

Its scary to think that overtime AI might takeover the world. AI has been helpful in every department I think. Evolving AI can produce many great things, but too much can be devastating.

Spreadsheets use formulas to find the total of something and make charts. Calculations like adding, averaging, and concatenating cell values are some of what formulas are used for. An equal sign is how you signal a spreadsheet that a formula is being entered.

Logic can be like if this happen would you have enough money to live normally. It manages things like conditional formatting, data validation, and complex financial modeling. Having logic in spreadsheets can help a lot.

Spreadsheets use automation for data entry, cleaning, formatting, and reporting. Calculations, report generation, and data consolidation are some things automation is used for. The technology of automation reduces human mistakes.

I think computers in the future will be able to feel emotion. They try to replicate human emotion, but fail most of the time. Programmers have tried and failed many times already. Maybe in the future they’ll succeed in giving them emotion.

It might be scary because of all the movies about world domination, but I hope its not like that. Having them as friends would be fun in my opinion. Realistically speaking they’ll most likely be killing machines.
